Mosigkau Castle was built as a summer residence between 1752 and 1757 for Princess Anne-Wilhelmine of Anhalt-Dessau. Today it is a museum, whereby the master paintings (Rubens, van Dyck...) in the Galeriesaal or “gallery hall”, are of particular interest.
The castle is surrounded by an idyllic park with its floral parterre, maze and two orangery buildings.
The Orangery at Mosigkau is also a venue for concerts and exhibitions.
In addition there is a Holiday apartment in the Schloss’s easterly Kavalierhaus.
