Munich Court Garden

Munich Court Garden, or Hofgarten, was created in 1613–1617 by Maximilian I of Bavaria, and extended during the 18th and 19th century. Today a public park, it was the former court garden of the residence of the Bavarian rulers.
It has a pavilion in the centre, dedicated to the goddess Diana (created by Heinrich Schoen the Elder in 1615) and includes fountains, parterres and hedges.
