The Musée National de Port-Royal des Champs, located at the 30 ha estate of the former Abbaye de Port-Royal des Champs, displays 17th- and 18th-century paintings and engravings. The visitors can discover the ruins of the abbey, a 13th-century dovecote, whereas the the building housing the museum dates from the 17th century
Founded in 1204, it was destroyed, by order of the King, in 1711, the abbey being a Jansenist stronghold.
