Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia, opened in 1953, is the largest science and technology museum in Italy and one of the four major museums of its kind in Europe. It is dedicated to the genius Leonardo da Vinci and located in the ancient monastery of San Vitore al Corpo.

The monastery of San Vitore al Corpo is an ancient monastery, reconstructed in the 16th century by the Olivetan order and completed by the architect, sculptor and painter, Pellegrino Tibaldi (1527–1596).
