Museum Vleeshuis

Monuments & Sites, Museums & Art Centres
The Museum Vleeshuis is dedicated to six hundred years of music and dance in the city, through displaying musical instruments and telling the stories of the trumpet players, carillonneurs, musicians and ladies from the bourgeoisie. You don't just see everything, you hear it too.

In addition, the Museum Vleeshuis focuses on new methods of printing music, instrument building workshops, and the first opera and concert halls.

The listed building is the former Butchers Guildhall, built in Gothic style between 1501-1504.
