Musica Festival Strasbourg is, since 1983, an annual contemporary music festival during the months of September-October in Strasbourg. Musica presents major works from 20th century repertoire, and confronts them with works of today by both emerging and established composers.
Together with the Strasbourg Conservatoire, Strasbourg Académie supérieure de musique / HEAR and Strasbourg University, the Musica Festival has created a composition academy, the Composition academy Philippe Manoury, in order to involve young composers in this exciting musical voyage of discovery.
