The National Sculpture Museum, founded in the first half of the 19th century, is dedicated to the art of sculpture from the late Middle Ages to the end of the 19th century. It has an impressive collection, in particular it has the greatest collection of wooden sculpture in Europe.
The College of San Gregorio, a 15th century architectural masterpiece, is since 1993 the main seat of the museum. Furthermore, the museum's collections are also housed in the 16th century Palacio de Villena and Casa del Sol.
