The Neue Nationalgalerie

The Neue Nationalgalerie at the Kulturforum, opened in 1968, is a museum dedicated to the art of the 20th century, and is part of the National Gallery of the Berlin State Museums. The museum building and its sculpture gardens were designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. 

The building has recently undergone a major renovation and restoration, designed by the British architect David Chipperfield.
