Normanby Hall, Country park

Castles & Country Houses, Event, Film & Wedding Hire, Gardens & Parks
Normanby Hall, set in a 122 ha (300 acres) country park, is owned by the Sheffield Family, former Dukes of Buckingham, and the original owners of Buckingham Palace. The family has leased 1964 the house and grounds to what was then Scunthorpe Borough Council for 99 years.

The House and country park are open to the public.

The house, built in 1825, is a Regency mansion, designed by Robert Smirke. The mansion is furnished in late Regency style, whereas the country park offers many features, such as the Victorian Walled Garden, a sunken garden, traditional herbaceous borders, a bog garden, duck ponds, a deer park, a fishing lake, a miniature railway, a farming museum...

Normanby Hall is also a golf club, and is a venue for corporate and private events, such as weddings...
