Ole Bull Museum Lysøen is the former summer residence of the Norwegian violin-virtuoso Ole Bull (1810-1880). The villa was built in 1873. The composer often invited here fellow artists and musicians.
The villa and all its contents were donated by his granddaughter Mrs. Sylvea Bull Curtis of Connecticut to the society for The Preservation of Norwegian Ancient Monuments.
During summer many concerts are given here.
