Owlpen Manor, a Tudor house, was built and rebuilt between 1450 and 1616, but the site dates back to the 9th century and to the de Olepenne family in 1174. It was sold for the first time in its history in 1924-1925...
Since 1974 is the home of Sir Nicholas and Lady Mander, who restored the manor house, its outbuildings, the cottages, the estate and the Arts & Crafts gardens with great care. The cottages can be rented for holiday accommodation.
Owlpen Manor is also a venue for TV, Film & Photo shooting, corporate and private events, such as receptions, weddings...
