The Palazzo Morando is a 18th century palace, housing the Museum of Milan and the collection Costume Fashion Image. The museum displays furnishings, paintings, sculptures, prints, as well as collections of clothes, accessories and uniforms, testifying the urban and social evolution of Milan between the second half of 17th and early 19th century.

The elegant building dates back to the 16th century and has been Inhabited by important families: Casati (late sixteenth century-1713); Villa (1733-1845); De Cristofori (1845-1877); Schott Weill (1877-1903). Early 20th century it comes in the hands of the Morando Bolognini family, who donated it to the City of Milan in 1945.
