The Palazzo Strozzi is one of the greatest masterpieces of Florentine architecture, a symbol of Renaissance style, built in 1489 and designed by Benedetto da Maiano. Today it is an artistic hotspots, with exciting exhibition programmes and a wide range of activities such as film screenings, sketching workshops, concerts...

On the outside, you can admire works by Niccolò Grosso (ca 1500), known as ‘Caparra’, the most famous ironsmith of the city of the time: the doormats, the darts, the flagpoles and the horseshoes.
