Peckover House is a Georgian town house, which has been owned and inhabited by the Barons Peckocver, a Quaker banking family, for 150 years. It was presented by the family to the National Trust in 1948.
The walled 0.8 ha (2 acres) garden contains several summer houses, a croquet lawn, a 17th-century reed thatched barn, herbaceous borders, orange trees, a fernery...
The house and garden are open to the public.
