Ploskovice Castle, a Baroque jewel constructed in the 18th century and former summer Habsburg residence is nowadays a museum. The castle and park are open to the public.
Used by the Emperors Ferdinand I and Franz Joseph I, the castle displays historic furniture, paintings, porcelain and glass, including a beautiful romantic ceiling paintings of the Czech painter Josef Navrátil.
The 9 ha romantic garden from the beginning of the 18th century, has artificial water baroque caves, named grottos, and fountains.
