Saint Ladislaus National Memorial Site
Monuments & Sites, Museums & Art Centres
The Saint Ladislaus National Memorial Site, Somogyvár, contains the ruins of one of the most prominent monasteries of Hungary, established by King Ladislaus I of Hungary (1040 -1095), and the modern visitor centre, explaining interactively the international significance of the monastery and the splendour of the former building.
The canonised king is considered, still today, as one of the greatest kings of Hungary.
