The Saint-Salvator Cathedral dates from the 12th–15th century, and is the city's oldest parish church. It contains numerous treasures such as Brussels tapestries, Flemish paintings from the 14th - 18th centuries, medieval tombs...
The 18th century organ, originally built by Jacobus Van Eynde, was rebuilt several times in the 20th century, and is today in full use during services and concerts.
