Sándor Palace, Presidential Palace, was built in 1806 for Count Vince Sándor. At present it is the official residence of Hungary's president. It is open only occasionally for the public and once a year, on the third weekend of September.
The palace is also called Alexander Palace.
The changing of the guard can be seen from Spring until Autumn, every hour on the hour, between 9am and 5pm. Once a month, there is a special guard change which takes place with music. (at noon on the last Saturday of the month)
