Schloss Mosigau, built between 1752 and 1757 for Princess Anna Wilhelmina of Anhalt-Dessau, is one of the few Rococo palaces in Central Germany. It was designed by the famous architect von Knobelsdorff.

It displays an important collection of Flemish Baroque paintings (Rubens, van Dyck...), coming from the wife of Duke John George, who was a princess of Orange-Nassau.

It is part of the Dessau-Wörlitz Realm, a UNESCO Heritage site, one of the first and largest English parks in Germany and continental Europe.
