Seehof Palace was built at the end of the 17th century as a summer residence for the Bamberg Prince-Bishops. The Rococo garden with its water-cascades, and nine state rooms, are open to the public.
The nine state rooms of the restored Prince-Bishops' apartment, include the "White Hall" with its magnificent ceiling painting by Guiseppe Appiani
Much of the garden sculpture was by Ferdinand Dietz. He also worked at Veitshochheim.
Seehof is also a venue for cultural, corporate and private events, such as concerts, receptions, weddings...
