SNM - Museum Bojnice Castle
The collections contain part of the original Pálffy collection, such as the Late-Gothic altar of Bojnice made by Nardo di Cione Ortagna, an Italian painter and sculptor from Florence (died c.1366)
The castle is surrounded by an extensive park and landscape park, including also the 600-year old lime tree of Bojnice of the King Matthias with 12.5-m trunk circumference, in front the castle entrance.
The castle is renowned for its attractions, including the popular Castle Fairytale, the International Festival of Ghosts and Spirits and the Summer Music Festival. In addition, Boijnice is also a venue for corporate, cultural and private events, such as meetings, Film Shooting, receptions, weddings...
