Stolberg Castle
Castles & Country Houses, Event, Film & Wedding Hire, Museums & Art Centres
Stolberg Castle dates back to the 13th century and has, until 1945, always been the seat of House zu Stolberg-Stolberg. Since 2002 it is in the hands of the German Foundation for Monument Conservation (Deutsche Stiftung Denkmalschutz), which is undertaking a complete restoration and renovation.
A part of the castle has been reopened to the public such as the Prince's Wing (Fürstenflügel) and the chapel. It is used for private and cultural events, with an exhibition related to its history including the House zu Stolberg-Stolberg.
The castle is a venue for weddings.
