Schloss Tabor, located in the middle of the Raab-Örség-Goricko Nature Park, in the border triangle of Austria, Hungary and Slovenia, in its current form was built in the 17th century by the Counts Batthyány, who continued to own Tabor Castle until 1992. Today it is owned by the Federal State of Burgenland, and serves as an opera venue and other cultural events.
