Trebah Garden

Trebah is an 18th century Georgian house, built on a much older site recorded in the Domesday Book of 1085, surrounded by a 12 ha (26 acres) splendid sub-tropical garden. The garden has been developed since early 1800s by the Fox and subsequently the Hext family.
The property was acquired by Major Hibbert and his wife Aira in 1981. They restored and improved the garden, whereas it was opened to the public. In 1990 it was handed over to the Trebah Garden Trust, in order preserve it for the future.
Trebah is also a venue for corporate and private events, such as conferences, weddings...
