Tyntesfield House Victorian Gothic-Revival house and estate. The estate dates back to around 1500, but it was William Gibbs, who made his fortune in fertiliser, who expanded and remodelled the existing Georgian mansion into what we see today.
Four generations of the Gibbs family have lived here, before it was acquired bu the National Trust in 2002.
The house is full of family treasures, brought together by the successive generations who lived here, such as The 'Throne of Charlemagne'.
The garden is full of flowers, terraces, kitchen garden, an empty lake, woodland...
Tyntesfield House is also a venue for corporate and private events, up to 50 people, such as business meetings, lectures, birthday parties...
