Van Abbemuseum, founded in 1936 by the industrialist and collector Henri van Abbe, is dedicated to modern and contemporary art. The collection contains works of many renowned names such as Picasso, Kandinsky, Mondrian and has one of the largest collections of works by EI Lissitzky.
