Villa Kérylos is a seaside Palazzo, a luxurious reconstruction of an ancient Greek villa, built in 1908 for the archaeologist and politician Théodore Reinach and his wife, Fanny Kann. Designed by the architect Emmanuel Pontremoli, the Villa is entirely furnished and decorated with ancient art.

Fanny Kann was related to the builders of Villa Ephrussi-de Rothschild, who were inspired by the beauty of the place and decided to built their own dream villa nearby. See: https://www.tripendy.com/location/villa-ephrussi-de-rothschild

The villa was bequeathed to the Institut de France after the death of Théodore Reinach in 1928, his wife having passed away in 1927.

Villa Kerylos is also a venue for corporate and private events, such as weddings, receptions...
