Wightwick Manor
It is surrounded also by an Arts & Crafts garden, created in stages and designed by Alfred Parsons and T.H. Mawson.
In 1937, Geoffrey Mander, MP and industrialist, could persuade the National Trust to take over the manor, which was only 50 years old, being an example of an art movement out of fashion. He and his second wife continued to life at Wightwick Manor and continued building up a magnificent collection of Pre-Raphaelite paintings (Rossetti, Burne-Jones...), which was added to the content of the house and can still be admired today.
Wightwick Manor is, on a restricted basis, a venue for Film & Photo shooting.
