Zug Castle Museum: This landmark of Zug is, since the extensive renovation from 1979 to 1982, housing the Cultural History Museum of the City and Canton of Zug, offering interesting insights into its history.
The castle dates from the Middle Ages and served as a a stately medieval residence. It has had several owners such as the Habsburgs around 1300 and the von Hünenberg family.
