MoLI – Museum of Literature Ireland, opened in 2019, is a museum of literature for the world's greatest story tellers and is dedicated to the country's rich literary heritage from past to present here in the historic UCD Newman House.

UCD Newman House, located at 85–86 St. Stephen’s Green, is the historic home of the Catholic University of Ireland, the precursor of University College Dublin. The complex consists of two of the city’s finest Georgian townhouses, built in 1738 and 1765 respectively.

The building takes its name from the theologian and educationalist Dr. John Henry Newman, who was rector when the Catholic University was founded in 1854.

The museum has also a landscaped Courtyard and Readers Gardens, a place of reading, learning and gentle enjoyment of nature, which also connect to the Iveagh Gardens.

The museum is also a venue for private events, such as weddings...
