Puurmani Manor

Castles & Country Houses, Event, Film & Wedding Hire
Puurmani Manor as we see it today, was constructed between 1877 and 1881 for Count Ernst von Manteuffel, and where the family lived until 1919, when it was nationalized and they left Germany. In 1918, Julius Kuperjanov established a partisan battalion there.

The stately Neo-Renaissance house was designed by Friedrich Hübbe.

You can visit Puurmani castle and learn about its history in the course of the Forgotten Manors program during the visiting days in the summer. You can also order a tour of the manor house, manor park and the entire Jõgeva County. The castle houses the Puurmani Upper Secondary School.

Puurmani manor is a great place for seminars and different celebrations, as well as for weddings, during weekends and school holidays.
