In the 19th century the family undertook a complete restoration of the castle, whereas restoring monuments and gardens of this magnitude is an ongoing process. The present owners, Josselin, 14th Duke of Rohan, and his wife, supervise the maintenance and promotion of this exceptional historic site. Apart from the historic rooms, there is a Doll Museum and the visitors can enjoy the beautiful gardens, a French garden, an English Garden and a Rose Garden.

Château de Josselin is also a venue for film & photo shooting, cultural, corporate and private events, such as concerts, receptions, weddings...
