Festival della Valle d’Itria is, since 1975, an annual summer opera festival in Martina Franca during the months of July and August. The performances are held in the outdoor courtyard of the Palazzo Ducale.
The festival's objective is to highlight forgotten or rarely performed works, or execute the well known repertoire in their original version.
