Fryderyk Chopin Museum, housed in the Fryderyk Chopin Institute, is dedicated to the life and work of the world famous composer Chopin (1810 – 1849). The museum and institute are located at the Ostrogski Castle (Gniński Palace)

The collection includes music manuscripts, editions of Chopin’s works, his correspondence, historical and contemporary iconography, precious personal items, and also documents linked to biographical writings, criticism of his works and the broad reception of the composer and his oeuvre. The basis of the collection came from Fryderyk’s elder sister, Ludwika, who was present at his death.

In addition, the Fryderyk Chopin Museum hosts concerts given by established and young artists.

The Birthplace of Fryderyk Chopin and Park at Zelazowa Wola are also managed by the Fryderyk Chopin Museum, including the Saturday and Sunday concert recitals there. See also;
