The Kulturforum is a cultural entity with various museums, libraries, and philharmonic concert halls, and hence one of Germany’s leading sites of art & culture. It includes the Gemäldegalerie, Kunstbibliothek, Kupferstichkabinett, Kunstgewerbemuseum, and Neue Nationalgalerie.
Plans are in the pipeline for the construction of a new building, focusing on the art of the 20th century to be built next to Mies van der Rohe’s Neue Nationalgalerie.
