Mocenigo Palace-Museum

Castles & Country Houses, Museums & Art Centres
Mocenigo Palace-Museum is dedicated to the history of fashion, costumes and fabrics. It contains collection from other museums such as Palazzo Grassi, Guggenheim, Cini and Correr.

Noteworthy is the museum's library on the subject, in particular covering the period of the 18 century.

The palace dates from the 17th century and was owned by the Mocenigo family. The last descendant of that branch, Alvise Nicolò Mocenigo, bequeathed it in 1945 to the city of Venice.

The Mocenigo Palace-Museum is managed by the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia
