As a scrap-dealer he enthusiastically collected all kind of machines over the years and restored them. This resulted in a unique museum on the premises of an old mill on the banks of the Indre River, closely to Château de l’Islette and the beautiful Renaissance castle, Château d’Azay-le-Rideau.
