Museum of Ancient Ships of Pisa, is an archaeological site of exceptional value, featuring over 30 restored or re-created vessels from the Roman period and early Middle Ages. These ships sank due to several floods between the 2nd century BC. and the 7th century AD.
A substantial part of the cargo of commercial product, contained in amphorae and vases, could be saved too.
The museum is located the aisles of the "Arsenali Medicei” (the Medicean Arsenals) in Pisa.
