The Museum of Astronomical Instruments - University of Padua is dedicated to the science of astronomy and features instruments collected over the decades of research. The collection is divided into two sections, one dedicated to data-gathering instruments, the other to data-processing devices.

Noteworthy is the telescope dedicated to Galileo, which was the largest telescope in Europe in the 1940s, a reflector model with a 122-cm-diameter mirror.

The museum is open by guided tours.
