The Palazzo Massimo is part of the National Roman Museum, which consists of a group of museums, dedicated to the pre- and early history of Rome, comprising four branches scattered over the city. The four branches are: Palazzo Altemps, the Baths of Diocletian, the Crypta Balbi and the Palazzo Massimo.
