Vytautas the Great War Museum

The Vytautas the Great War Museum is dedicated to Lithuanian and global military science from ancient times to modern times, through a valuable collection of archaeological finds, weapons, firearms, ammunition, army uniforms of various states, as well as relics of the Lituanica, the famous airplane that crossed the Atlantic.
The building, constructed in 1919, half of it being the National M. K. Čiurlionis Museum of Art, was financed by many patriotic citizens, whereas outside, there is a carillon tower, as well as an open-air sculpture garden.
