Zoological Museum Strasbourg

The Zoological Museum, located in Neo-Renaissance building built between 1890 and 1893, displays the zoological collections of the city of Strasbourg, managed by the University of Strasbourg. The museum is closed until 2023 for renovations.
A substantial part of the collection originates from the collection of Johann Hermann (1738 – 1800), a French physician and naturalist.
