Monuments & Sites, Museums & Art Centres
Arcabas Museum Chartreuse, housed in the church of Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse, is entirely decorated by the artist Arcabas, or Jean-Marie Pirot (1926 – 2018), and is one of the most interesting works of sacred art of the 20th century.

The collection includes 111 works of art such as paintings, sculptures and stained glass.

The church itself dates from 1860 and is beautifully located in the heart of the Chartreuse Regional Natural Park.
