The Armagh County Museum, opened in 1937, is the oldest County Museum in Ireland, and contains interesting collections of military uniforms, wedding dresses, ceramics, natural history specimens and railway memorabilia, as well as an impressive art collection of well-known Irish artists.
The art collection includes works of artists such as A.E. Russell, John Luke and J.B. Vallely.
The museum has also an extensive library.
