Castle Vorden dates back to the 12th century. Up to the second half of the 20th century, it has been handed over only by inheritance to Dutch aristocratic families, such as Hackfort, Ripperda and the Barons van der Borch (1771-1974).
Presently its enthusiastic owner is giving private tours in the castle and using it as a venue for cultural, corporate and private events, such as B&B, receptions, weddings...
