The Civic Museum of Palazzo Mosca, displays important collections of art and decorative art, from the Renaissance and Baroque to the 20th century, as well as items related to Rossini ( 1792-1868), the composer.

Some highlights of the museum are the 'Coronation of the Virgin' by Giovanni Bellini (c. 1430 – 1516) and the 'Fall of the Giants' by Guido Reni (1575 – 1642).

The Palazzo Mosca, built in the 16th century by the wealthy Mosca family, who built also Villa Caprile (see: http://www.tripendy.com/location/villa-caprile-gardens)
