Domaine de Chantilly

Castles & Country Houses, Event, Film & Wedding Hire, Gardens & Parks, Museums & Art Centres
Château de Chantilly is one of the French and European cultural jewels, with an impressive art collection. The last private owner, the Duc d'Aumale, bequeathed the property to the Institut de France upon his death in 1897. The château and park are open to the public.

Chantilly is closely linked with the de Montmorency, de Condé and d'Orléans families, starting in 1484 and ending in 1897. However the rich history continues to live on in the high quality- and large collections displayed in the château, surrounded by the impressive park.

On the Domaine there is also 'The Museum of the Horse', inaugurated in 2013 in the Great Stables. It focuses on the importance of the relationship between men and horses since the beginning of civilisation.

In addition, Château de Chantilly is a venue for film & photo shooting, cultural, corporate and private events, such as concerts, receptions, weddings...
