The Helsinki City Museum is dedicated to the history of Helsinki, a museum of everyday life. There are many types of spaces and atmospheres such as the Children's Town, where generations meet and learn about the past by doing things together, and the Time Machine offering time travel with the help of new technology.
It also operates four other museums around Helsinki: Hakasalmi Villa, Burgher's House, Worker Housing Museum and Tram Museum.
Entrance to all museums is free of charge.
