Hoveton Hall, not open to the public, was built between 1809 and 1812, and designed by Humphry Repton, the famous architect and landscape designer. It is owned by the Buxton family since 1946, and today home of Andrew and Barbara Buxton.
The estate consists of almost 49 ha gardens and parkland, and 182 ha (450 acres) woodland and arable land.
The grounds include: The Spider Garden, The Old Kitchen Garden, The Glass House, The Woodland Walk, The Magnolia Garden & Lake, The Ice Well, The Kitney Lake and The Arboretum.
Hoveton Hall is also a venue for TV, Film & Photo shooting, corporate and private events, such as meetings, receptions, dinner parties, weddings...
