The International Accordion Composition Competition "Francisco Escudero" is an annual contest with the objective to promote the creation of pieces for solo accordion and for accordion in chamber music.
It was created in 975 by the, Confederación Guipuzcoana de Acordeón (currently called Hauspoz) with the intention to broaden the horizons for the instrument.
